Description
Description

The 1/1 ガンプラくん [ガンプラくん劇場イメージカラー] is an event-limited plastic model kit released to commemorate the 45th anniversary of Mobile Suit Gundam. It features a special color scheme inspired by the poster for the theatrical version of Mobile Suit Gundam II: Soldiers of Sorrow. Here are the key details:

  • Release Date: December 7, 2024
  • Size: Approximately 80mm tall (about 8.6cm with stand)
  • Features:
    • The kit uses a multi-color molded runner with metallic blue, dark blue, and pink parts to reflect the iconic theater poster’s vibrant aesthetic.
    • Includes a beam saber, beam rifle, shield, and a stand for display (self-standing is possible but less stable due to the model’s design).
    • Features a 3mm joint hole under the hip for compatibility with other stands (sold separately).
    • Comes with a foil sticker sheet and a simple monochrome instruction manual.
  • Availability: Sold exclusively at Gundam Base locations, Premium Bandai, and select events like the 62nd All Japan Model & Hobby Show (October 12–13, 2024, Tokyo Big Sight). Availability may vary by store, and some Gundam Base Satellite locations may not carry it.
  • Additional Context: This model is part of a broader Gundam 45th anniversary celebration, which includes new short PVs titled Gunpla-kun Theater (released December 2, 2024, on the Gundam YouTube channel) and related merchandise like stickers and LINE stamps featuring Gunpla-kun and friends.
