In 1960s Hong Kong, aeroplane chess was everywhere: cha chaan tengs, parks, and living rooms. The rules are simple. Roll the die, take off, and send an opponent back to the start. Whole families could play it.

SKY ADVENTURE brings that game back as a high-fired ceramic plate. The board is decorated with in-glaze decals, so the artwork stays stable in daily use. It is food-safe and suitable for the fridge, oven, dishwasher, and microwave. Sixteen conical ceramic pieces come in four colours, four each. The wooden die is assembled from tiles before you play. When the game is over, clear the pieces, wash the plate, and serve snacks on the same board.

This is a gift, not a children's toy. It contains small ceramic pieces and may pose a choking hazard. Not suitable for children under 3. Recommended for ages 12 and up, with adult supervision.

How to play

A cross-and-circle race for 2–4 players. Be the first to move all four pieces of your colour into the centre, Home Base.

Roll a 6 to launch a piece from the starting zone. Move along the track by the number rolled. Roll a 6 again and you take another turn. If you land on an opponent's piece, that piece goes back to the start. Landing on an arrow square slides you toward the centre. Once all four of your pieces are home, you win.
